This is the most current of the Qualcomm synthesizer boards we have worked
with. Sometimes this assembly is described as the "Lamb Chop" version. The
synthesizer is in the bottom section, and the gold rectangular board contains the
LO multiplier, Rx LNA, Tx and Rx Mixers and drivers, a wideband i.f. amplifier,
and the TX power amplifier. N6IZW documented a conversion of this transceiver
for use on both the 10368 cw/ssb portion, and the 10451 satellite portion of the
10 Ghz band. The synthesizer can be easily switched between these
two frequency segments.
