"1152" Synthesizer Board
This board has VCO output in the range of 750-1000 MHz, but can be easily
modified
to raise the VCO frequency to above 1152 MHz. The synthesizer IC
may be a 3036,
3216, or 3236. The board does not have a divide-by-two prescaler
between the VCO
and the synthesizer IC input. When programmed to lock on 1152
MHz, it has direct
radiation harmonic output that can provide nearby receivers with
low-level markers
on all bands above 1296 MHz, including 24192 MHz. If the
on-board MMIC amplifier
is enabled, it can provide about +10 dBm output as an LO
for a 1296 XCVR using
a 144 MHz i.f.
