This Windows program calculates rod length and antenna reactance for unity SWR given the other dimensions of a hairpin match. It models the hairpin as a lossy transmission line with correction for end effects. It accounts for radiation loss, shunt feedpoint capacitance, lead inductance, and mutual inductance between all conductors. The program can model a VHF hairpin made from a continuous length of stiff wire. It models straight feedline leads that converge to a point or parallel leads that form a transmission line.
