This Windows program calculates ground permittivity and conductivity for antenna models from the impedance of an open wire line probe. It accommodates a probe partially inserted into hard ground, and it can suppress common-mode current. It models the inductance of the wire or strap that connects the rods and the capacitance due to solid dielectric between them. The program can fit the Messier soil model to the curves to help identify compromised measurements. Skin depth helps to assess the sampling limitation of a surface probe when the ground is inhomogeneous. Loss tangent indicates the relative influence of conductivity and permittivity. The program reads Touchstone, RigExpert, VNA4Win, and Array Solutions VNA files.
Another program calculates the average, minimum, and maximum of multiple measurements.
