This shot shows both operating locations. Eliazar's antennas are pointing towards Europe, about 80 degrees. The hotel operating site across the bay is slightly in from the right edge of the picture. The hills behind each operating site were virtually unclimbable especially if you wanted to carry a 45 pound battery. We aren't 20 years old any longer either. They had about a 45 degree slope and there were no trails. We were able to operate two simultaneous six meter stations without interference. One station on 50.200 (Eliazar's house) and 50.102 at the hotel. Clean antenna patterns and pointing made this possible (plus a little skill). We had many openings to Europe and North America at the same time.
